Binthus Design strives to ship with international couriers Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) (0% duty for the receiver) as the best business practice.
This is not possible for oversized items over 70kg/154lbs or 150cm/59in in length, which are not accepted by couriers and are shipped on a pallet/wooden crating.
In case your order is not eligible for DDP service we will place the order on backorder and contact you for approval. In some cases we can agree to discount or refund the duties applied after importation.
CONDITIONS
Our protection program applies under the below conditions:
- The order was placed online through our secure checkout.
- The item was significantly not as described, damaged in transit or never arrived. Upon the recipt of the package please inspect for damages. If there are visible signs of damage on the package, please email contact@binthusdesign.com pictures of the damaged package before and after the opening. Those steps assures a quick refund in the case the product has been damaged during transit.
- The issue was reported within 14 days after delivery date, and the original package was stored under good conditions to make possible the return or inspection by insurance surveyor.
Exceptions may apply to:
* High value orders over 2000 EUR/2250 USD and oversized items over 70kg/154lbs or 150cm/59in in length that are shipped on a pallet/wooden crating. These shipments always include shipping premium insurance category “A” and surveyor appointed by insurance must appraise loss of value.
